The Athletic Club offers 2 main structures of running a corporate membership:

Membership as a company funded employee benefit.
For small to medium sized companies.  Under this type of scheme the company enters into a contract at a fixed rate price for the purchase of memberships.  The company pays for the memberships at the beginning of the contract period.  The cost of the membership can then be recovered by the company in full or in part via pay roll deductions.

Capitation membership Option

For medium to large size companies. Under this type of structure we would provide a facility, which would be extended to all the employees within the company, as a generic benefit.  The fees are calculated by forecasting a percentage of regular users, occasional users, and none users.  Calculations would be based on a feasibility study of the specific company.  The cost is payable at the beginning of the contract for the duration of the contract.  The cost per member reduces significantly under this type of scheme, and the company can promote a global benefit, which is offered equally to all staff.

Fitness Equipment
Check out our up to date equipment ranging from cardiovascular to strength.

Free weights, squat racks, bench presses, and a "Cross-over" multi-unit together make up a complete line of Icarian equipment. Our Hampton rubber dumbbells range from 2.5 to 125 lbs. We also have many Nitro Nautilus machines. Nitro Nautilus equipment is designed around the structural functions of the muscles incorporating variable levels of resistance. Muscles are then stimulated to grow stronger. Cardiovascular (aerobic) equipment features: Stairmasters, Star Trac cycles (upright and recumbent) and Star Trac treadmills, Precor Elliptical trainers and Concept II rowers.  Our facilities and equipment are upgraded regularly.

Group Fitness Classes
Here you will find the most comprehensive group fitness class schedule on the Island!

Our classes range from beginners to advanced levels. Workouts may include high impact or low impact movements, stretching, toning and strengthening exercises. These are frequently enhanced by the use of Body Bars, hand weights, rubber bands and tubing and BOSU. We also provide studio cycling classes utilizing the latest Star Trac Spinner NXT cycles. In addition we offer an extensive selection of mind-body classes such as Pilates mat and Power Yoga. All classes are conducted on a Neo-Shock wooden aerobic floor. ALL our group exercise classes are included in the cost of your membership, no hidden fees. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Massage & Beauty Treatments
Our spa is conveniently located inside The Athletic Club. We offer everything from body and skin treatments to massage therapy.

Massage therapy benefits both your physical and mental well being by enhancing athletic ability, preventing injury, increasing circulation, promoting relaxation, relieving tension and pain, rehabilitating muscle tissue and enhancing joint mobility.

The Athletic Club offers Swedish, Thai Yoga, Hot Stone, Reflexology, Reiki and Deep Tissue Massage. Our Spa Therapy Treatments include our signature wraps, body contouring treatments, facials utilizing Sothy’s of Paris Products, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing. Enjoy a soothing whirlpool or aromatherapy steam and pamper yourself in absolute luxury.

Personal Training
The Athletic Club offers several personal training options to meet your individual needs, including one on one and buddy training.

All fitness staff is certified with a wide range of experience and expertise. We keep abreast of developments and changes in the field of fitness and well-being. A personal trainer is an exercise professional who designs a personalized program for you based upon your wellness goals. They will provide high energy motivation with excellent results, working with you one-on-one to achieve those goals!

Our exercise specialists are experienced in post-operative, sports and other rehabilitation exercise programs.

Reasons to hire a trainer may include:
  • You may enjoy the privacy of individual instruction, especially if you are a beginner and are uncomfortable working out in an environment with experienced exercisers.
  • Constant supervision is highly motivating and you will learn how to train effectively and safely.

Enjoy our coed Spa complete with both warm and hot whirlpools. Relax in our soothing eucalyptus scented steamroom after a hard workout. Each of the changing rooms also has its own private sauna for those that prefer dry heat.

You will work on a one-to- one basis with Fitness and Nutrition Consultant, Dr Kathy Fulcher, to devise an individually tailored lifestyle plan that will be assessed and monitored to ensure success. Choose your option according to your needs.
 
Option 1
Individual Consultation - Price: $150
Includes:
  • Body composition assessment
  • Assessment of food diary and activity record
  • Personally adapted eating and exercise programme
  • To include a computerized dietary analysis & report to this option, the extra cost is $40

Option 2
Individual Consultation, Programme and Follow Up - Price: $250
Includes:
  • Body composition assessment
  • Assessment of food diary and activity record
  • Personally adapted eating and exercise recommendations
  • Review, reassessment and measurement after agreed time interval
  • Email follow-up up and advice/communication between sessions

Option 3
Weight Management Programme - Price: $640
A 6-session programme that includes 6 one-to-one consultation sessions at individually agreed time intervals (usually 2 weeks apart and then monthly)

Sessions deal with:
  • Eating behavior and patterns
  • Assessment of food diaries
  • Tips sheets and information
  • Personalized eating plans and updates according to progress
  • Individualized exercise plan and updates
  • Body composition measurement
  • Email follow-up up and advice/communication between sessions
